Gloria Calhoun, founder of Harvesting Scholars, has been right where you are.  As a former student and now parent of college age children, she knows what it's like to not have the guidance and support needed to make informed and wise decisions to ensure a successful future in college. She recalls learning a lot of what she needed to know while listening and watching others who were just as lost as she. As a result, she has developed a passion for informing others to prevent them from making the same mistakes.

Gloria Calhoun is dedicated to helping individuals to navigate the maze of education. Through coaching and support, she and the Harvesting Scholars team, will help you figure out next steps to ensure you are prepared for your educational journey after high school graduation.

Gloria is a native of Cartersville, Georgia.and is passionate about grassroots leadership through coaching, advising and mentoring in local communities. She is a 1998 graduate of Jacksonville State University, holds a masters degree in educational leadership and is pursuing an educational doctorate degree from Argosy University.  She serves on various advisory committees at local technical colleges and is a part-time online professor at Geneva College in the Adult Degree Program.
